Moorgate Crofts Business Centre
The spectacular Moorgate Crofts Business Centre was recently opened by HRH The Duke of York, as part of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council's award winning approach in supporting new high-tech business ventures. The centre is at the cutting edge of eco-friendly design, incorporating energy efficiency throughout and a living green roof.
CDE Ltd have been involved with several aspects of the external environment, designing and manufacturing bespoke entrances, fencing and access hand rails in both mild and stainless steels. The work has been delivered in close collaboration with Rotherham MBC property design teams and both the principal construction and landscape contractors.
In-keeping with the successful design style, Chris Campbell was also invited to develop a concept for the main building signage and the resulting structures were laser cut in stainless steel and fabricated in-house. Chris is now working with two Modern Apprenticeship groups from schools in Rotherham, to produce ideas for a permanent sculptural piece, to reflect the significance of Moorgate Crofts as a contemporary flagship enterprise.
